反义疑问句

This book is less interesting than that one,____?

A.is it B. is this C. isn’t it D. isn’t this

less不是little的比较级应该是不是定，为何选C呢

当一个句子中有 never, seldom, hardly, few, little, barely, scarcely, nothing, none, rarely, no, not, no one, none, nobody, neither...等否定词时，句子无论是在乎义上还是在形式上都是相反的，如此的句子才是不是定句。此时，假如后面接附加疑问句，一般要用一定形式。less interesting在乎义上表达否定，而在形式上仍是一定的，所以附加疑问句要用否定式。另外，too...to结构也可表达否定意义，但在形式上也是一定的，若后面接附加疑问句同样要用否定。比如：

He is too old to do the work, isnt he? 他年龄太大了干不了这个工作，是吗？
